私たちに与えられた自由意志とは？

- 「目に見えるものだけではなく、あなたがしていると思っていることもすべてが幻想です。」
- 「自分の行動によって、結果が変わるというのは幻想」
と言及しており、この現実世界では私たちの自由意志はないと断言しています。
自由意志については、人それぞれ解釈が違います。
今回は、一般的な自由意志の解釈とタフティ的な解釈を交えながら、
- 自由意志とは？
- 私たちに与えられた自由意志とは？
- 私たちの自由意志は他人に影響するのか？
について、英語でゆるく語っています。
「自分で行動している」という幻想

自由意志の定義とは

Today I had the most interesting topic that I wanted to speak with Eiji and with everyone else.
And that’s on the topic of does anything you do, is it actually decided by you?
In other words, do we have free will? Can we exercise our free will?
Eiji, I know we’ve talked about this before and the topic always is we find new things to talk about when thinking and talking about free will.
Now, based on everything that you have read, what you know and what you personally believe, do you think we have free will?
And do we affect other people with our free will?

今日はとても興味深いテーマについて、エイジ、そしてみなさんと一緒に話したいと思っていました。
それは、「私たちがしていることは、本当に自分で決めているのか？」という問いです。
言い換えると、私たちには自由意志があるのか？
そして、その自由意志を実際に行使できているのか？
エイジ、このテーマについては前にも話しましたよね。
自由意志について考えて、話せば話すほど、毎回新しい気づきが出てくる気がします。
これまで読んできたこと、知っていること、そしてあなた自身が信じていることを踏まえて聞きたいんですが、
私たちに自由意志はあると思いますか？
それから、私たちの自由意志は、他の人にも影響を与えると思いますか？
EijiYeah, that’s a good question.
So basically, unfortunately, we don’t have free will in this realm.
We have free will to create the reality or change the course of the reality.
But we can’t change what’s happened here or what’s happening here.
うん、いい質問だね。
正直、これは答えるのがちょっと難しいテーマなんだけど……
今の僕の感覚で言うと、この次元では、いわゆる「自由意志」って、あまりないのかもしれないなって思ってる。
もちろん、現実を創ったり、流れを変えていくっていう意味では、自由意志はあると思う。
ただ、もう起きてしまったこととか、今まさに起きていること自体を変える、っていうのはできないんじゃないかな。

EijiAlso, we can’t change other people’s actions or minds.
That’s a very complex topic, but basically we have at least one free will.
How do you think about it, Abby?
それに、他の人の考え方とか行動を、直接変えることもできないよね。
この話は本当に複雑で、僕自身もまだ考えている途中なんだけど……
少なくとも、「これなら自由意志って呼べるかも」と思える部分は、ひとつある気がしてる。

AbbyFree will… It’s hard to think about what my thoughts are because we’ve talked about it so much that I understand your point of view and I start to think, is that my point of view as well? But anyways.
うーん……自由意志。
このテーマについてたくさん話してきたから、自分の考えが何なのか、ちょっと分からなくなってきました。
あなたの視点を理解するようになって、
「これって、私の考えでもあるのかな？」って思ったりもして。
EijiI think our conception of free will are a little different, mine and yours.
So I want to hear about your definition of free will first.
たぶんだけど、僕たち、自由意志の捉え方が少し違うかもしれないね。
だからまずは、アビーが思っている自由意志を聞いてみたいな。
一般的な自由意志の捉え方
AbbyOkay, so the way I would define my personal thoughts on free will are you have the choice as a sovereign being, as a sovereign soul or person, whatever you believe, to make choices, any choices.
Now, it’s my belief that these choices that you make in life at the core are neither good nor bad. They’re just simply neutral.
はい。私なりの自由意志の考え方は、
私たちは主権を持った存在として、どんな選択でもできる、というものです。
そして、その選択自体には、本質的に「良い」「悪い」はないと思っています。
ただの中立的なものです。
AbbyBut we as people might take them as good choices or bad choices when we exercise our free will.
But I think the world doesn’t really care.
I guess at the bottom line is like the world doesn’t care.
The world will always continue to balance itself out, right?
So everybody’s always making choices.
Everyone’s always doing what they want to do.
でも私たちは、その選択を「良い選択」「悪い選択」だと受け取りますよね。
ただ、世界そのものは、そこまで気にしていない気がするんです。
世界は常にバランスを取ろうとしていて、
人はみんな、常に選択をして、自分がやりたいことをやっている。
AbbySometimes they clash, sometimes they are very harmonious and they work really well together.
But I think, and I’ve always thought that people have free will to a degree.
I also think depending on your personality, your character, your traits, you might be more prone to make certain choices.
その選択がぶつかることもあれば、
すごく調和して、うまくいくこともある。
私は、人にはある程度の自由意志があると思っています。
でもその人の性格や特性によって、
選びやすい選択肢が決まっていることもありますよね。
AbbyIn that case, you might not have as much free will as you want or making the right choices for yourself might be a lot harder for you depending on who you are, if that makes sense.
そうなると、思っているほど自由じゃなかったり、
自分にとって正しい選択をするのが、すごく難しい人もいると思うんです。
EijiYeah, I think that’s a very normal way of free will.
That’s the majority, I think.
But for me, we don’t have choices in front of us.
It’s already decided.
今の話は、すごく自然な考え方だと思う。
たぶん、多くの人がそう感じてるんじゃないかな。
ただ、僕の今の感覚だと……
目の前に「選択肢が並んでいる」っていう感覚そのものが、
実は幻想なんじゃないかと思ってる。
タフティ的な自由意志の捉え方
EijiSo it seems you’re choosing something now, but it’s already decided.
That’s not your choice.
So that’s not your free will.
今この瞬間に何かを選んでいるように感じるけど、
その選択も、もう少し前の段階で決まっていたのかもしれない。
だから、「自分が選んだ」と感じているけど、
それは自由意志とは、少し違うものなのかもしれないね。
AbbyWait, wait, so you’re saying that everything that’s happening is happening the way it was written?
ちょっと待って。
つまり、起きていることはすべて、
最初から書かれていた通りに起きている、ってこと？
EijiYeah, for example, there are options A and B.
You’re thinking which you choose.
And then you pick up A.
And then you feel you chose the result.
But actually, that result is already decided before it’s happening.
うん、そうだね。
たとえばAとBがあるとして、
「どっちにしようかな」って考えて、Aを選ぶよね。
でも、「今、自分で選んだ」と感じたとしても、
その結果自体は、起きる前から決まっていた、
そう考えることもできると思う。
自分で選択しているという幻想
AbbyYou reminded me of a scene in The Matrix.
Do you know which scene I’m talking about?
Where the Oracle tells Neo, you’re not here to know, or you’re here to understand why you chose what you did or something like that, right?
Not whether or not you’re going to choose it.
You’re here to understand why you’re choosing this at the end of the day
それ、映画『マトリックス』のあるシーンを思い出しました。
オラクルがネオに言う場面、分かりますか？
「選ぶかどうかを知るために来たんじゃない。
なぜそれを選んだのかを理解するために来たんだ」
そんな感じのセリフですよね。
EijiYeah.
うん、うん。
まさにそんな感じだと思う。
AbbyBut that’s so interesting.
Did you always have this concept of free will?
Or has it changed?
すごく興味深いですね。
あなたは昔から、こういう自由意志の考え方だったんですか？
それとも、途中で変わったんですか？
EijiI changed recently or maybe like the recent three years or five years because I had the same concept of free will as yours before.
But now, I don’t think it’s entirely correct.
So choosing something in this realm or plain is not our choice, not our free will.
これは割と最近かな。
ここ3年とか5年くらいで、少しずつ変わってきた。
前は、アビーと同じような考え方をしてたよ。
でも今は、この次元で何かを選ぶこと自体が、
自由意志だとは思わなくなった。
AbbyYeah.
なるほど。
私たちに与えられた自由意志は「現実をどう捉えるか」
EijiIt’s already decided.
But our free will is how to perceive the reality, the result in front of you.
Something happened, how do you take that result?
Or how good, how bad you take that from that result?
出来事とか展開は、自分の選択じゃない。
もう、すでに決まってる。
でも、自由意志があるとしたら、
それは「目の前の現実をどう捉えるか」
そこなんじゃないかなって思ってる。
AbbyI see.
Let me ask you this based on your definition of free will.
Do we choose our reactions to the things that happen or we don’t choose those reactions?
なるほど。
じゃあ、その定義で聞きますね。
私たちは、起きたことに対する「反応」を選んでいるんですか？
それとも、その反応すら選んでいないんですか？
EijiI don’t think so, because every reflective action or mind or emotion are already decided.
So you feel something or you have some emotion that’s already decided by the reality or Creator.
But after that, you find some advantage from that result.
That’s your free will.
You reflect the result into the future frame.
僕は、反応も選んでいないと思う。
感情とか思考、反射的な反応も、もう決まっている。
でも、そのあとに
「この出来事から、何を見出すか」
そこは選べる。
AbbySo our reflection of the situation where we can choose, this is positive or this is negative for me.
つまり、その出来事を
「これは自分にとってポジティブだ」
「ネガティブだ」
と捉える部分が、自由意志なんですね。
EijiYeah, and that changes your vibration, because emotions nearly equals vibration.
That’s how to create the reality in the right way.
うん、そう。
その捉え方が、波動を変える。
感情って、ほぼ波動そのものだから、
それが次の現実につながっていくんだと思う。
AbbyHuh…
Based on what you’re saying, there’s only certain amounts of realities we can create that are, I guess, written for us or we wrote them or I don’t know who wrote them.
But we might have free will to choose.
For example, say I spill my coffee, right?
I have certain ways I can choose to react, but these reactions are already written, right?
I can choose one of them, technically it’s written that I might scream or I might not care or I want to change my shirt.
These are all situations that are already written, right?
I can’t choose outside of this.
なるほど……。
たとえば、私がコーヒーをこぼしたとします。
叫ぶか、気にしないか、着替えるか。
反応はいくつかあるけど、それも全部、もう用意されている？
EijiI think so, because it’s already happening and the options are already manifested.
うん、そう考えてる。
もう起きてるし、選択肢もすでに具現化されている。
3次元は制限とパターンの世界
AbbyI see what you’re saying.
Now, this reality can be kind of scary for some people to think that no choice they make really matters, right?
でも、この考え方って、
「自分の選択には意味がない」って感じてしまう人もいそうですよね。
EijiYeah.
うん、そうだと思う。
AbbySo tell me a little bit about that.
その点については、どう思いますか？
EijiSo that’s very hard to accept first for many people.
Almost everyone first. Even for me too.
最初は、かなり受け入れづらいと思う。
正直、僕自身もそうだった。
AbbyI think so.
But you know what?
I think it also is very… I can understand it because on the internet, for example, sometimes I will go on the internet and I will see somebody saying, I used to do this as a child, I used to do this.
And then I think, I used to think that and I used to do that too.
So humans might not be as different.
でも、ネットを見ていると、
「子どもの頃、こうだった」とか
「昔、こう考えていた」という話を見て、
「私も同じだった」って思うことがあります。
EijiMm-hmm.
うん。
AbbyIn the way that they respond or the way that they engage with the environment in this, I guess, 3D world, we tend to perceive things as human, all of us, because we’re all here, right?
So we have our senses to touch, to smell, to hear, and to see.
So using all of these senses that we have in our physical bodies here in this, I guess, 3D world, we look and perceive everything in a very similar way, right?
人間って、思っているほど違わないのかもしれませんね。
この3Dの世界では、
同じ感覚を使って、同じように現実を認識している。
EijiMm-hmm.
うん、そうだね。
AbbySo we are limited to our physical body as far as our perception and even I would say our capabilities intellectually, right?
So we might not be able to react in any other way because we have these limiting bodies, I think.
身体という制限があるから、
知覚や知的な能力にも限界がある。
だから、反応も限られているのかもしれません。
EijiYeah.
うん。
AbbySo free will might not be as free as we think or as broad as we think.
だから、自由意志は思っているほど自由じゃないのかもしれません。
EijiYeah. So actually, our choices or the courses are so limited, more than you think.
Or even it’s one way, always.
そうだね。
選択肢とかコースって、思っている以上に少ない。
もしかしたら、常に一つしかないのかもしれない。
EijiBut only if you get out of the autopilot, you can change the course.
But you can’t create the reality because it’s the creator’s job not your job.
You just can choose or direct the course.
ただ、オートパイロットから抜けられたとき、
コースを変えることはできる。
でも、現実を創るのは自分の仕事じゃない。
それは創造主の役割で、
僕たちは、向きを選ぶだけ。
私たちの自由意志は他人に影響を与えるのか？
AbbyYeah.
Now, can my free will affect somebody else? Do you think?
なるほど。
じゃあ、私の自由意志は、他の人に影響を与えますか？
EijiI don’t think so because in my opinion, other people in your reality are also part of your manifestation.
Of course, they have their own souls, but their body or their appearance are manifestation in your reality.
So you can’t change what’s happened here already.
So You have to perceive the other people as an image.
僕は、影響しないと思ってる。
自分の現実に出てくる他人も、
創造された現実の一部だから。
魂はそれぞれあるけど、
身体や見た目は、自分の現実の中のイメージなんだよね。
AbbyOkay.
Do they perceive me as an image as well? Does that make sense?
じゃあ、相手から見た私は、相手の現実のイメージ？
EijiYes, because they see you through their monitor.
うん。
相手は、相手のモニター越しに君を見てるからね。
AbbyI don’t know.
That’s scary thought.
それ、ちょっと怖いですね。
EijiYeah, I think so.
Of course we connect each other through our souls or spirit.
But that’s another story.
Now we are talking about this dimension, haha.
まあ、そう感じるかもしれないね。
でも、魂とか意識のレベルでは、
ちゃんとつながってる。
ただ、それはまた別の話。
今は、この次元の話をしてるからね（笑）
